June 30, 2009
Kinder, LA—Coushatta Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, has just replaced over 500 of its slot machines and now offers the latest and most popular slots to bring more fun and excitement to the casino. With over 2800 slot machines, more than 1300 are now penny denominations.
“With the new technology arriving in today’s gaming industry, we felt we needed to change out our older slots and bring in more of the newer machines. Coushatta Casino Resort now features the best selection of the newest interactive games in the region,” stated Warren Davidson, Director of Slots.
Along with the addition of the new slots throughout the casino floor, the Circus of Slots tent located in the back part of the casino will be converted to a non-smoking area beginning July 1. The area includes 670 slots and a snack bar. “Many of our guests have been asking for a smoke-free area to play slots and we are committed to providing the best guest service for our players,” stated the casino’s Director of Marketing Phil Ziegler. “We’ll be the only casino in the region to cater to both smokers and non-smokers.”
To celebrate arrival of the new slots and the non-smoking section, the casino is having a $200,000 cash giveaway on Saturday, July 11. There will be ten winners of $10,000 and one winner of $100,000.
