Native American Casino Magazine’s 2007 Leadership Award Winner Joins Coushatta Management Team

Kinder, LA—Coushatta Casino Resort has named its new general manager: Conrad Granito, former general manager of Santa Ana Star Casino, Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. In April 2008, Native American Casino magazine awarded Granito its prestigious Leadership Award. Granito assumed management of Santa Ana Star Casino in 2003, and in four short years, he led the facility to become one of the state’s leading American Indian owned casinos, almost doubling its market share and tripling total revenue.

Further, under Granito’s management, the casino was twice recognized as one of New Mexico’s top ten places to work by New Mexico Business Weekly. The award is given to companies based on nominations placed by its employees, who participated in an online, anonymous survey. Quantum Market Research, an independent market research firm, tallied the survey results to determine the winners.
