Koasati Pines Golf Course Ranked #4 in Louisiana on Golf Digest List of ‘Best In State’ Courses
Golf’s Most Prestigious List of Best Places to Play
September 10, 2019
Kinder, LA—Koasati Pines at Coushatta is currently ranked the #4 golf course on the 2019-20 list of Golf Digest’s “Best In State” golf courses, moving up one notch from the previous year’s ranking. Koasati Pines is part of Coushatta Casino Resort, owned by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana. This spectacular course also placed in the Top Ten of Best in State Golf Courses: Louisiana Recognition as published in Golf Digest, 2015-16. Multiple approaches on three holes, six sets of tees to engage golfers at all skill levels, pristine greens and beautiful fairways––and it’s all wrapped up in a stunning 18-hole par 72 championship layout on the 7,617 yard course. The novel 19th “gambling” hole is a favorite spot where tiebreakers and wagers can be resolved. Course designer Kevin Tucker challenged golfers with multiple approaches to several holes, but GPS enabled carts track yardage and offer course tips to help plan each shot.
