Coushatta Casino Resort Donates Consumables to Salvation Army

KINDER, LA––Coushatta Casino Resort donated food products to the Salvation Army to assist with their mission of feeding the hungry and helping to ensure that those who depend on them for meal assistance have sufficient nourishment during these extremely hot summer months.

Salvation Army Lieutenant Richard Watts accepted the donation from Ward Benoit, Food & Beverage Complex Manager at Coushatta Casino Resort. Lieutenant Watts stated, “We are happy to receive this donation from Coushatta Casino Resort. This will really help with our feeding program. Last year we provided meals for over 30,000 people in the parishes we serve: Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, and Jeff Davis. Thank you very much for your generosity.”
