Coushatta Casino Resort Celebrates 21st Anniversary

Cake-Cutting Ceremony with Native Tribal Dance Performances

Kinder, LA—Coushatta Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, will celebrate its 21st anniversary at 10am Friday, January 15, 2016. Tribal Chairman Lovelin Poncho, members of the Tribal Council, casino management, and local dignitaries will mark the occasion with a cake-cutting ceremony and special performances by tribal dancers in Mikko Live, located inside the casino near The Grand Hotel.

Anniversary celebrations continue Saturday, January 16, with acclaimed TV late night show host JAY LENO performing in The Pavilion at 8pm, and on Sunday, January 17, with a Car & Cash Giveaway totaling over $85,000 in cash and prizes. During the giveaway on Sunday, hourly cash drawings will be held from 6pm until 9pm and the new car grand prizes will be awarded at 10pm and 11pm.
