Coushatta Casino Resort presents La Maquineria Norteña with special guest Fito Olivares Saturday, November 2, in The Pavilion at Coushatta. La Maquineria Norteña was born when young founder Keith Nieto decided to explore new musical horizons, along with his brothers Rory and Tony, and his friends Sergio Soto and Randy Perez. Their musical sound binds together their experience and style to create a new sound, a musical concept with modern and contemporary arrangements within the Regional Mexican genre, particularly in northern music style "Chihuahua," and accentuated with saxophone and accordion.

Cumbia saxophonist Fito Olivares and fellow musicians, including his brothers Javier on vocals and Jaime on keyboards, hail from Ciudad Camargo, Tamaulipas. They formed their band in 1980 and are now recording with the Gil Records label.
