Coushatta Casino Resort Associates Donate Christmas Gift Bags to Residents of Kinder Retirement Home

Coushatta Casino Resort associates from Security, Transportation and Valet collected donations within their departments totaling $841. This amount was used to purchase items to benefit residents of the local Kinder Retirement Home. Each of its 78 residents received a Christmas gift bag with a blanket, lip balm, knit cap, fanny pack, body lotion, body spray, crossword puzzle book and pen, and a deck of cards. Additional items donated for use in the home’s Recreational Room included various board games, playing cards and candy.

The gifts were delivered on Wednesday, December 19 by a group of casino associates dressed as Santa’s elves, as well as Santa himself and Mrs. Claus. Santa and Mrs. Claus visited with residents while the elves handed out the gift bags and spread lots of Christmas cheer!
