Coushatta Casino Resort Assists with Hurricane Harvey Recovery Efforts in Houston

KINDER, LA––The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and Coushatta Casino Resort are assisting the recovery efforts in Houston, Texas following Hurricane Harvey. The casino sent a food truck loaded with burgers, hot dogs, fresh fruit, chips, and drinks to feed US Marshals active in the relief effort, and residents in Houston affected by the floods.

Michael Tierney, Director of Food & Beverage, stated, “Coushatta Casino Resort’s food truck will be serving food around the clock, from its arrival Tuesday afternoon until Thursday or when supplies run out. We are proud to be of service to our friends and neighbors in Texas!”
