Grand Opening of Lucky Paws Dog Park at Coushatta May 29

Coushatta Inn & RV Park Designate a Limited Number of Dog-Friendly Rooms and Chalets to Complement New Dog Park

Kinder, LA––The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of Coushatta Casino Resort’s new “Lucky Paws” Dog Park on Wednesday, May 29, from 3pm to 7pm. The new dog park is located south of the chalets in Red Shoes RV Park. It will open daily sunrise to sunset, with leash-free fun, shade and benches for humans, and water, agility equipment, and plenty of running room for dogs. For this event, bring your dog and try out the park. There will be treats and prizes for both humans and canines, plus a Grand Opening gift for all dog owners while supplies last.

Casino General Manager Conrad Granito has been hearing requests for dog-friendly rooms over the past few years. “Dog owners have been telling us they like to travel with their canine friends. Coushatta is all about having fun. We have a great family-friendly resort and dogs are part of the family.” Ten of the resort’s chalets and ten rooms at Coushatta Inn will be designated “Dog Friendly” for overnight accommodations.

Special guest for the grand opening will be Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Jeff Davis Parish, a non-profit organization that operates a no-kill facility in Hathaway. ARF will have dogs available for adoption during the grand opening celebration.
