$142,450 Payout is First of the Year

(Kinder, LA. – May 9, 2010) Moses Horton won a $142,450 MegaJackpot® on a quarter machine on Saturday, May 8th at the Coushatta Casino Resort.

The winner is a school teacher from Houston, Texas, and said he visits the casino “every now and then.” Horton went on to say he was actually invited to play the winning machine. “[I] was standing in an area where all the seats were taken, a couple got up from the machine and asked me if I wanted that seat” he said. After investing around $30, Horton said he was surprised to find he had won the top progressive prize. “I was numb for a few minutes, I did not know what happened. I was in total shock. I came close at other times, but this was the first time for me!” Horton reported. When asked about immediate plans, the Megajackpot® winner said he plans to continue teaching, and that his “ultimate dream” would be to build a school for kids.
