Louisiana Guest Wins $100,000 Cash in Coushatta’s $200,000 “Luckiest Day of the Year” Giveaway July 11
Kinder, LA—One guest at Coushatta Casino Resort knew it was her luckiest day of the year on July 11 when she won the grand prize of $100,000 during the casino’s $200,000 “Luckiest Day of the Year” cash drawing. Debra Hensinger of Louisiana screamed with excitement and cheers from onlookers could be heard throughout the casino when her name was drawn at midnight. The event drew thousands of guests to the casino for a chance at winning one of eleven cash prizes. Winners were drawn every 30 minutes from 7:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. The first ten winners each received $10,000 cash, leading up to the eleventh and final $100,000 grand prize drawing at midnight.
“As expected, we had a tremendous turnout and you could feel a sense of excitement throughout the whole day,” stated Phil Ziegler, Director of Marketing. “The crowd was just incredible. It was great to see so many people having a good time.”
Coushatta Casino Resort will hold another spectacular $250,000 cash giveaway every Thursday night in August at 8:30 p.m. Guests will be eligible for $50,000 total cash drawings on the first three Thursdays and $100,000 total cash on the final night. Guests become eligible for drawings with rated play on their Advantage Players Club cards.
