Grammy Nominee Joe Nichols Performs Live! in Concert October 10

The Pavilion at Coushatta

Kinder, LA—Rising country star Joe Nichols will perform one show only in The Pavilion at Coushatta on Friday, October 10. It’ll be a night full of traditional country music with a mix of humor, poignant ballads, and tales about broken hearts. Tickets will go on sale August 29 at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, and Coushatta Box Office. Ticket prices start at $19.50.

Nichols’ hits include “It Ain’t No Crime,” “Size Matters, (Someday)” “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” “What’s A Guy Gotta Do,” “The Impossible” and “Brokenheartsville.” On September 23, Nichols will perform live at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

Real Things, Nichols’ fourth album for Universal Records South, presents the 30-year-old native of Rogers, Arkansas at the top of his vocal game. This is classic country from a singer who loves to tap the style’s capacities for deep seriousness and deep fun. “For the past year or so,” Nichols said, “I’ve been kind of peeking at the next level.” He mentioned “I’ll Wait for You” and “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” two hit singles from III, his collection from 2005. “But I don't think we’ve put it all together on an album like this before. … Musically, we’ve done what we’ve wanted to do, and have been nominated for four Grammy’s, but that doesn’t automatically mean that it takes you to the next level. It’s just musically where you are.”
