KINDER, LA––Coushatta Tribal Vice-Chairman Jonathan Cernek, Coushatta Tribal Councilmembers Crystal Williams, Loretta Williams, and Kevin Sickey, casino management and staff were on hand to cut the ribbon at the long-awaited grand opening of Jalapeño Rio. The casino’s newest restaurant is located in the lobby of Seven Clans Hotel in the former Bar 7/Studio 7 area. Jalapeño Rio is a Mexican-style tapas bar and restaurant that features authentic dishes with a focus on fresh ingredients. The menu has an extensive variety of appetizers along with soup, salad, entrée and dessert choices. The cocktail bar offers an impressive assortment of adult beverages including its signature top-shelf margaritas made by hand, using freshly squeezed limes and small batch, handcrafted tequilas. Jalapeño Rio is open daily: Monday-Thursday 4pm-10pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-11pm, and Sunday 11am-10pm, with seating for 80 guests.
