Coushatta Casino Resort Chefs Capture Three Awards at Taster’s Choice Competition

Kinder, LA––On Wednesday, February 3, chefs from Coushatta Casino Resort captured three awards in the 6th Annual Taster’s Choice competition, held at the Eunice Community Health Center on the LSU-E campus. The event is a fundraiser for the clinic.
Executive Chef James Hamilton and his culinary team competed in the Professional category, capturing first place for their boudin King cake entrée, first place for their cream cheese King cake dessert, and People’s Choice award for best entrée, the boudin King cake, a salty/sweet twist on a traditional Mardi Gras favorite.
