Coushatta Casino Resort Announces Tony Cormier as New Director of Food & Beverage

Kinder, LA––On Monday, September 15, 2014, Coushatta Casino Resort promoted Richard “Tony” Cormier to Director of Food & Beverage.

Cormier began his career at Coushatta Casino Resort in November 1994 as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager on the Opening Team. During his tenure at the casino, Cormier has served in many positions inside the Food & Beverage department including Director, and has also served as Special Events Manager from 2007 to the present. He expressed excitement at beginning his new duties, “I’ve come back to the department where I started, and I’m eager to get started on my new duties. I’ve been here for twenty years and I want to be here for twenty more!”

Cormier will oversee all aspects of the resort’s nine restaurants, beverage, banquets and catering operations, and will lead the casino’s culinary team in the concept development and creation of new and innovative menus and service formats to expand guest patronage. He said, “I will ensure that when our gaming guests choose to dine with us, their dining experience far exceeds their expectations––and I know I’ve got the right team to do it.”
