Coushatta Casino Resort Holds Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting at Lucky Paws Dog Park May 29
Coushatta Inn & RV Park Designate a Limited Number of Dog-Friendly Rooms and Chalets to Complement New Dog Park
May 29, 2013
Kinder, LA––Coushatta Tribal Chairman Kevin Sickey was joined by grand opening guests––both human and canine––as he cut the ribbon to officially open the casino’s newest venue: “Lucky Paws” Dog Park, located south of the chalets in Red Shoes RV Park. The new park is open daily sunrise to sunset with leash-free fun, shade and benches for humans, and water, agility equipment, and plenty of running room for dogs. In addition, ten chalets and ten rooms at Coushatta Inn have been designated “dog-friendly” for overnight accommodations. For reservations, phone 1-888-774-7263 or reserve online at www.coushattacasinoresort.com.
Special guest for the dog park’s grand opening was Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Jeff Davis Parish, a non-profit organization that operates a no-kill facility in Hathaway, with a group of dogs available for adoption. During the grand opening, all canine guests enjoyed dog treats created exclusively for this event, and dog owners were surprised with prizes and gifts.
